A construction worker working at a construction site on the Yale campus was injured today when a bracing fell out of place hitting the worker.
The brace fell directly on top of the worker trapping him underneath. The support structure was in the process of being taken down by other workers when it ultimately fell. Other workers in the area were able to remove the structure from the fallen worker.
Serious ankle injuries were sustained due to the accident and the worker was taken to the hospital. The fire department as well as police officers turned up at the site and are still piecing together how the accident happened.
